Little Athletics is held during the warmer months, and Perth conditions can become very hot. Training and competition may still proceed in warm weather; however, the safety and wellbeing of athletes, families and volunteers will always be our priority.
Before cancelling, the club and centre may consider practical adjustments such as modifying the program, providing additional water and cooling stations, increasing access to shade and cooling towels, and limiting the amount of time athletes and volunteers spend in direct heat.
Training or competition may be modified, postponed or cancelled due to extreme heat, venue conditions or other safety concerns. Families should check the club’s usual communication channels before travelling.
Parents and guardians know how their child manages warmer conditions, and we will always support a family’s decision not to attend when they believe this is in their child’s best interests. Please let the club know so we can work with you and minimise any impact on your child’s participation.
Eligible families may be able to use a Kidsport voucher towards registration fees.
Select Bayswater Little Athletics Centre as the activity provider. Kidsport claims are not submitted under Camboon Little Athletics Club.
